IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT MISSING MUNICIPAL HOUSE NUMBERS

It has been brought to my attention that many homes in Milton, particularly in the new development area, are missing municipal house numbers.
The house number must be erected prior to occupying a new home. The house number identifies your property to fire, police and ambulance services in the case of an emergency. Without a house number emergency services cannot identify your property, which will delay our response to you. Lot numbers are not to be used to identify your home to service providers. It may be that your builder has agreed to erect the house number as per your Purchase of Sale agreement. Please ask them and if not, it is your responsibility as the homeowner to erect the municipal number. Your municipal number must be placed somewhere on the front of the house where it is clearly visible from the street or road
