Electricity Rates
The Ontario Energy Board has announced new electricity prices for Regulated Price Plan (RPP) consumers. If you buy your electricity through a contract with an electricity retailer, you will continue to pay their price.

First 1000 kWh at $0.065/kWh
Balance of KWh at $0.075/kWh

New Water Rate Structure
Effective January 1, 2009 Halton Region introduced a new, easier to understand rate structure that combines both water and wastewater charges on your bill. For customers receiving water or wastewater only services, the 2009 rate fee structure can be found online at www.halton.ca or by calling the Region directly at 905-825-6000, toll free 1-866-442-5866, or TTY 905-827-9833.
