SMS Outage Notification System Pilot Incentivization - Contest Rules and Conditions

The SMS Outage Notification System Surveys Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Milton Hydro Distribution Inc. (the “Contest Sponsor”).
CONTEST DATES AND TIMES
The Contest begins at 12:00 am EST on Monday, July 21, 2025, (the “Contest Start Date”) and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2025 (the “Contest Closing Date”). The Contest may be extended without advance notice, at the sole discretion of Contest Sponsor. Updates will be posted on https://www.miltonhydro.com.
ELIGIBILITY
This Contest is open to the first 1,000 residential or small business customer account holders of the Contest Sponsor who sign up for the SMS Outage Notification System program. Employees, agents, representatives of the Contest Sponsor and its affiliates are not eligible.
Entrants must reside in Ontario and have reached the age of majority.
HOW TO ENTER
Complete the two SMS Outage Notification System Surveys in full and the provided entry form, including the skill-testing question. Only one entry per account number is permitted.
The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries or technical issues.
PRIZE
One (1) CAD $100 Canadian Tire gift card is available to be won. Prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable.
DRAW
A random draw will occur at 12:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, October 1, 2025. The selected entrant must meet eligibility criteria, correctly answer a skill-testing question, and provide a signed Winner Release.
RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION
Winners must sign a Winner Release to confirm compliance with the Contest Rules and release the Contest Sponsor from any liability related to the Contest.
GENERAL RULES
Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. Contest is void where prohibited and subject to Ontario laws. Disputes will be resolved by Ontario courts.
By entering, entrants consent to the use of their information for Contest administration and publicity purposes without further compensation.
The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel the Contest at any time without notice.
No purchase is necessary. All entries become property of the Contest Sponsor. Personal information will be used only as described in the Privacy Policy.
