Safety Above All Else: Milton Hydro Reaches Major Milestone Without a Lost-Time Injury
Milton Hydro Distribution Inc. is proud to announce the attainment of another significant safety milestone: 750,000 hours worked without a lost-time injury. This accomplishment underscores our unwavering commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and delivering reliable energy to our community.
In recognition of this achievement, Enzo Garritano, President and CEO of the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA) stopped by the Milton Hydro headquarters to congratulate the senior leadership team and members of the Operations crew and present them with the prestigious Recognition of Performance Achievement Milestone Award.
Previously, Milton Hydro was recognized for attaining 250,000 hours without a lost-time injury in March 2019 and 500,000 hours without a lost-time injury in December 2021. The organization and staff are anticipating continued success and are committed to the attainment of 1 million hours without a lost-time injury in 2026.
