Q: When can I enroll?

You are eligible to enroll after you have received at least one bill from Milton Hydro.

Q: How do I enroll?
  • Sign up and log-in to your online account.
  • Click “My Profile” on the left menu.
  • Choose the “Change Email Notification” option.
  • Select “Yes” and hit submit.

Q: What is my Password?

Your Password is created once you sign up for an online account. You will receive it through email.

Q: When will my online account be activated?

Immediately. Your online account is active immediately following enrollment.

Q: What if I forget my Password?

If you forget your password, go to the Log-In page and click “Forget your Password?”. Enter your account number and your password will be emailed to the email address you provided.

Q: How do I enroll additional accounts?

All of your accounts can be viewed once you log-in by clicking the “Click here to list all your accounts.” link at the top of the window. All of these accounts are enrolled once you enroll a single account.

Q: Will I continue to receive paper bills in the mail?

No, once you choose the ebill option you will no longer receive a paper bill.

Q: How do I cancel my eBill enrollment?
  • Log-in to your online account.
  • Click “My Profile” on the left menu.
  • Choose the “Change Email Notification” option.
  • Select “No” and hit submit.

Q: How is my personal information kept safe?

eBilling uses several methods to ensure that your information is secure:

  • Account number and Password: Your Account Number and password are unique identifiers that only you know. As long as you don’t share your account number and password with anyone, no one can view your bills or personal information.
  • SSL: eBilling uses SSL (secure socket layers) which ensures that your connection and information are secure from outside inspection.
  • Encryption: eBilling uses 128 bit encryption to make your information unreadable as it passes over the Internet.
  • Automatic Sign Out: eBilling automatically signs you out of a session if you are inactive for 20 minutes.

Q: Are all computers safe to use?

Computer security experts advise that you may put your information at risk when you use a public computer for personal business. While Milton Hydro uses numerous security measures to protect your personal information on our website, the use of public computers may compromise the security of your information. Public computers include those in schools, libraries, Internet Cafe’s, etc.

For maximum security you may want to avoid using public computers when enrolling or modifying your personal or banking information.
