Pilot of SMS Outage Alert System Now Enrolling

We’ve been working on a new SMS Outage Notification service to keep our customers even better informed.

We’re almost ready to deploy it and have invited a randomly selected group of customers via email to a short-term pilot of the service to help us perfect the system.  

Leading Ontario LDCs join forces through PowerShare to advance DSO Capabilities

Milton Hydro joins 8 other Ontario Local Distribution companies to form PowerShare, a new collaboration to advance DSO capabilities and support the integration of distributed energy resources (DERs).

Their goal is to create a more flexible, efficient, and customer-focused electricity grid across the province. The group’s first step is participating in the Ontario Energy Board’s DSO consultation to help shape the future of local energy markets.
